Comfort and efficiency in the work areas
Fargau infrared heaters provide immediate thermal comfort in workshops, garages and workstations, without unnecessarily heating the entire volume of air.
Thanks to direct radiation , the heat is felt as soon as it is switched on, even in large, open or poorly insulated spaces.

The main advantages:
-
Instant heat upon ignition
-
Energy saving : only the useful area is heated
-
No ventilation : no dust movement
-
Easy installation : wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted or freestanding
-
Operates by zones , ideal for large industrial buildings
Why choose infrared heating?
Hot air systems (air heaters, blowers) consume a lot of energy and leave work areas cold as soon as a door is opened.
Radiant heating provides targeted, uniform and silent heat.
In practice:
-
Heats people up, not the air
-
Ideal for industrial, mechanical, craft or logistics environments
-
No airflow: suitable for woodworking, painting or textile workshops
-
Maintenance-free, long lifespan
Typical applications
-
Assembly or fitting stations
-
Mechanical workshops, car garages
-
Open or semi-open industrial buildings
-
Isolated or intermittent work areas
👉 Radiant heating adapts to all surfaces: from a small 20 m² garage to a 1,000 m² warehouse.
How to size your installation
Expect to pay on average:
-
1.5 kW for a small fixed unit (3 to 6 m²)
-
2 to 3 kW for an open area (6 to 10 m²)
-
5 to 6 kW for multiple workstations or very open workshops
The ideal approach is to work in zones : each radiant heater covers the usable surface without waste.

FAQ – Workshop & Workstation Heating
Why is infrared more effective than hot air heating?
Radiant heating directly heats surfaces and people, without preheating the air. Efficiency remains constant even with doors open.
Can a workshop be partially heated?
Yes. The Fargau system allows heating only the active areas (workstations, production line, control area, etc.) without energy loss.
Which IP rating should I choose?
IP44 is sufficient for most dry indoor environments. In humid or dusty environments, choose IP55.
What installation height do you recommend?
Between 2.5 and 3.5 meters depending on the power and configuration. The more powerful the radiant heater, the higher it can be positioned.
